1. From the main page of the Forum, click the Register link up near the top of the screen (looks like this: ).
2. Assuming that you are over 13, agree to the terms by clicking on, "I Agree to these terms and am over or exactly 13 years of age"
3. When the registration page comes up, you are required to provide the following information:
   • A username.
   • A valid e-mail address. This is essential as you will not be able to activate your account without receiving an email from the system.
   • A password. You must type the exact same password in the "confirm password".
   • A confirmation code. The confirmation code is used to try and prevent automated spam programs from taking advantage of the forum. Type the numbers and letters exactly as you see them into the "Confirmation code" box. As with everything on the forum, the code is CASE-SENSITIVE. If the letters you see are UPPER-CASE, make certain to type them in UPPER-CASE. If they are lower-case, type them lower-case.
4. Feel free to provide any other information that you wish under Profile Information and Preferences. None of the pieces in these areas are required.
5. When you are ready, go to the bottom of the page and click "Submit"
6. If you have filled in all of the required fields, your registration will be submitted, pending activation. The site will tell you that an activation key has been sent to the email address you provided.
7. When you see this message, go to your email program and check your messages. You should have a message from the forum. If you don't have one yet, please be patient. Some companies delay email delivery as part of spam filtering.
8. When you receive the email, there will be instructions that say, "Your account is currently inactive. You cannot use it until you visit the following link:". Click the link provided in the email. If the link is not clickable, you will need to copy and paste it into the address line of your web browser.
9. Once you have visited the link and the activation has processed, you should get message inside of the forum that your account is now activated.
10. You are now free to login. To do so, click on the "Log in" link up near the top right (looks like this: ).
11. Enter the username and password that you just entered as part of the registration and click the "Log in" button
12. You are now logged in and may post to the forum as you wish.
